Yale University Sports Camp (8:30 am~4:30 pm, 5 days)
The program’s home base is the Payne Whitney Gymnasium at Yale, one of the world’s largest sports facilities. The camp is designed to promote individual development and to guide youngsters through exciting sports and recreational activities. Planned indoor sports include basketball, swimming, ping-pong, volleyball, squash, gymnastics, yoga and rowing. Additionally, campers are transported twice a week to Yale’s athletic fields for participation in soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, field hockey, lacrosse, kickball, and tug of war. On most Wednesdays the group travels to the Outdoor Education Center in East Lyme, CT. This trip provides ample opportunities for swimming, fishing and other water activities. Additional exciting day trips may be scheduled. |

Yale University Science Camp (9:00 am~4:00 pm, 5 days)
From the Age of Reptiles mural in the Great hall and the exquisitely painted backdrops of their dioramas to the life-size Torosaurus sculpture outside the Museum, natural history art is an integral part of the Yale Peabody Museum, which sponsors this wonderful science camp.
In this camp, days will be filled with interactive learning activities about animals, plants, dinosaurs, rocks, and minerals, and other topics; behind the scenes tours of the Yale Peabody Museum’s exceptional collections; exciting field trips, and more. It is our hope that students will end the session with a new understanding of the rich interplay among living and nonliving entities on earth in this experience of a lifetime. |
